Infinity – 2019: The Endless Techno-Cultural Fest

JAIN – School of Engineering and Technology hosted a two-day carnival ‘Infinity – 2019’ to celebrate the glory of the millennial’s era. Infinity is an exceptional event of JAIN where vibrant cultures meet technological innovations. It brought back the nostalgic days of one’s childhood with the theme ‘Memoir of a 90s kid’.

Staying true to its theme and culture, the latest episode of Infinity organised events like Literary Hybrid, Poetry Slam, The Greatest Showman, Hogathon, Treasure Hunt, Music (Singing & Instrumental), Dance, Beat Boxing, Fashion Show, Battle of Bands, Face Painting and many more. The fest focused on bringing out the hidden talent in students and nurturing them.

This year, nearly 3000 – 4000 students participated from various colleges in Bengaluru. Some of the creative events were CryptX, Blind Coding, Robot Wars, Electrathon, Nirmaan & Reverse Engineering.

The Chief Guest for the inaugural ceremony was Ananya Bhat, the singer of the multilingual film KGF: Chapter 1. External Judges for various events included Asha – Director of Guru Raghavendra School of Music for Solo Singing & Instrumental; Shivu Prasad and Nisha B R – theatre Artists, Intent Cinema, Bangalore for The Greatest Showman, Mad Ads & Dramatics; Harshith Hegde for Battle of Ban; John Melvin & Manjunath for Solo & Group Dance; Karun Krishna for Beat Boxing; and Apeksha Purohit for Fashion Show.

Major highlights of Infinity – 2019 were Sunburn Campus DJ Concert, IEEE Student chapter inauguration, Lenovo Walk – Fashion Show and KTM Bike show.
