Business Psychology Conclave-2017

The Department of Psychology and Student Career Advisory and Placement Support Team (S-CAPS), Jain University organized the Business Psychology Conclave 2017. The theme of the conclave was Transforming Minds and Developing Business.

The gathering discussed the industry-academia gap and the change required in HR policy for business requirements. It also stressed on the need to recruit postgraduate industrial psychologists and to understand the trends of having business psychologists in organizations.

The panel discussions at the conclave covered areas such as skill sets in business recruitments and the contribution of psychologists to the overall growth of the organization; the amalgamation of psychology and business management in practice; insights of psychologists in digital marketing and Point of Purchase (PoPs); and HR policy to incorporate industrial psychology for business recruitment.
